Orchia d'Orio

In 2011, the Boulbonne Abbey inaugurated its first music concerts, revealing the promising young talents of the oratorio workshop. These concerts first highlighted the captivating songs of the Demoiselles de Saint-Cyr, a refined musical tradition of the Royal House of Saint-Louis founded by Louis XIV. Then, the abbey was able to discover their orchestra, accompanied by the talented Jean-Christophe Maillard. Together, they magnified baroque music.

In August 2017, Boulbonne Abbey had the pleasure of welcoming Orchia d'Orio for a piano concert. Orchia d'Orio's inspired and captivating music offered a unique musical experience in the enchanting setting of the abbey.

L'ACADEMIE ANTIPHONA

L'Académie de l'Ensemble Antiphona

In August 2021, Boulbonne Abbey had the pleasure of collaborating with the ANTIPHONA ACADEMY. This project allowed singing professionals to discover surprising polyphonies dedicated to the figure of the Virgin Mary during the Middle Ages. The abbey thus highlighted its musical heritage while offering an enriching experience to the participants.
